Hi [[Name]],
We’re reaching out because [[organization]] is partnering with Teacher2Teacher to launch a national campaign for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8), and we wanted to invite you to participate. Our hope is that by partnering together and inviting students, families, educators and our broader community to share #DearTeachers messages online, we can offer something special and uplifting to educators.
In the midst of COVID-19 disruption, the warm, in-person celebrations and gift-giving that typically characterize Teacher Appreciation Week aren’t possible, but this campaign, #DearTeachers, is meant to recreate some of what is lost: the cards and signs, notes and homemade videos – the little moments of acknowledgment that mean so much to hardworking educators.
Whether you’re a parent or student celebrating a teacher who’s made an impact on you or a teacher giving a shoutout to your fellow educators, you can participate with us by using this link to create a custom #DearTeachers story graphic and sharing it with your networks over social media.
Or, you can share the link to the graphic generator directly!
Thanks so much for joining us – and for everything you do on behalf of students and school communities.
Go social! Share photos of educators you work with along with messages of gratitude.
Be sure to use #DearTeachers in your copy, so we can see and amplify your messages!
Invite influencers in your network to record and share a #DearTeachers video – or record one in collaboration with your team!
Throughout the week, we’ll be identifying our favorite #DearTeachers posts to amplify to the larger community, and we encourage you to do the same!
